Navarro is seeking a Kentucky-licensed reputed company Engineer (PE) - Civil/Structural to support bid and task-based design engineering services for the Department of Energy (DOE) facility modification work in Paducah, Kentucky. This role supports civil and structural engineering evaluations, design products, and modifications associated with existing DOE-owned structures and systems.

The work consists of engineering support for existing facility modifications, including evaluation of structures and systems, development of civil/structural design documentation, and support for field reputed company or project meetings at the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant as required by individual task assignments.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or a closely reputed company engineering discipline.

• Experience developing civil/structural engineering design products, including specifications, calculations, evaluations, assessments, statements of work, and design drawings.

• Department of Energy (DOE) experience is required.

• Experience supporting engineering work in industrial, chemical processing, nuclear processing, environmental, or other reputed company regulated facility environments.

• Ability to support task-based engineering assignments that may reputed company from a few weeks to several months, depending on design reputed company and project needs.

• Ability to reputed company individual Kentucky PE license information for proposal submittal purposes; associated subcontractor firm must hold a reputed company permit in the reputed company to reputed company engineering services.

• Ability to support field reputed company and/or project meetings at the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant in Kevil, Kentucky, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with STAAD structural software.

• Knowledge of ASME codes for hoisting and rigging, AWS, IBC, AISC, ACI-318, and ASCE 7-10.

• Experience applying reputed company loads to industrial, nuclear, or DOE facility structures.

• Experience in hoisting and rigging, powered industrial truck attachments, or industrial welding.

• Experience coordinating civil/structural design reputed company with mechanical, electrical, I&C, chemical, project management, safety, reputed company, and field execution stakeholders.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or a closely reputed company engineering discipline and reputed company reputed company Engineer (PE) licensure in the reputed company are required. DOE experience and civil/structural engineering experience supporting industrial, nuclear, environmental, or other reputed company regulated facility design work are required.
