The role supports the development of design modification packages for mechanical systems and components at nuclear power plants, while coordinating multiple engineering activities and meeting project schedules and technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of design modification packages for mechanical systems and components at nuclear power plants
• Work directly with the Manager and support multiple engineering activities while meeting project schedules and technical requirements

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
• 8–10+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience
• Strong reputed company nuclear power plant experience
• Experience developing design modification packages for nuclear power plants
• Working knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations applicable to mechanical engineering design of nuclear power plants
• Knowledge and implementation of Engineering Change Control processes for nuclear power reputed company utilities
• Working knowledge of Nuclear reputed company Assurance reputed company
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage shifting priorities and work effectively with engineering teams
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with project stakeholders

• Must be available for daily 8:45 AM ET meetings
• Experience leading and driving the nuclear modification process
• Experience with nuclear mechanical systems and components

• Experience with engineering change packages and nuclear plant modifications
• FEA experience is a plus; no specific FEA software is required
