The State & Local Tax (reputed company) / Indirect Tax Consultant will support consultancy-driven reputed company and tax compliance activities, including preparing and filing multi-state returns, researching tax laws, resolving notices, assisting with audits, and advising clients on sales and use tax reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing sales tax data, preparing, and reviewing sales and use tax returns in a multi-state environment
• Prep and file indirect tax returns
• Reconciling sales, use, and excise tax general ledgers
• Ensuring reputed company and accurate filing of reputed company returns and documentation
• Filing refund claims with the taxing jurisdictions
• Resolving tax notices and advising clients on best practices to stay in compliance
• Assisting leadership with special reputed company
• Reviewing tax exemptions for reputed company usage
• Researching and staying up to date regarding indirect tax issues and law changes
• Assist in audit documentation requests, organizing documentation, initial review of records from audit pull-list, and audit defense
• Assist in the planning and communicating with clients and state auditors
• Assist with multi-state sales and use tax registration reputed company
• Assist in data preparation for voluntary disclosure agreements
• Directly work with clients to solve their various sales and use tax compliance reputed company reputed company
