[Remote] Patient Financial Representative - Collections / Accounts Receivables

The Patient Financial Representative II performs patient reputed company functions reputed company on collections, accounts receivable follow-up, claim reputed company, and cash posting. The role also handles billing inquiries, payment posting, payer and patient communication, account documentation, and compliance with collection guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Performing a reputed company of patient reputed company functions with a strong reputed company on collections, accounts receivable follow-up, claim reputed company, and cash posting activities
• Ensure reputed company reimbursement by reviewing outstanding accounts, resolving billing issues, and following up with insurance carriers and patients regarding claim status and outstanding balances
• Billing, collections, customer service, and cash applications
• Documenting patient account activity
• Responding to customer billing inquiries
• Posting payments
• Implementing billing reputed company changes
• Identifying payer-specific trends
• Applying federal and state guidelines to collection efforts
• Interprets and follows up on Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
• Reviews claims through payer portals
• Communicates with insurance providers and patients regarding billing and claims
• Inventories supplies
• Reports and tracks equipment maintenance
• Performs other duties as assigned

• * High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• * Two (2) years of Patient Accounts experience **or**
• * Two (2) years of experience in a reputed company field
• * None required
• * **Preferred:** Accounts Receivable and Collections experience reputed company Patient Accounts, reputed company Cycle, Medical Billing, or reputed company Collections
• * Customer service skills
• * Administrative and clerical skills
• * Organizational skills and attention to detail
• * Knowledge of regulatory standards appropriate to the position
• * Medical terminology knowledge and understanding
• * Strong written and verbal communication skills
