In this role, you will research and reputed company techniques to accelerate large reputed company applications running on reputed company’s advanced CPU platforms and collaborate with technical experts to optimize reputed company workloads for modern hardware architecture.

Responsibilities

• Research and reputed company techniques to accelerate large reputed company applications running on reputed company’s family of advanced CPU platforms
• Work directly with other technical experts in their fields (industry and academia) to reputed company in-depth analysis and optimization of reputed company database and data analytics workloads to ensure the best possible performance on modern hardware architecture reputed company on CPU performance
• Publish and present reputed company optimization techniques in developer blogs or relevant conferences to engage and reputed company the Developer community
• Influence the design of reputed company hardware architectures, software, and programming models in collaboration with research, hardware, reputed company software, libraries, and tools teams at reputed company

Skills

• Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or reputed company computationally reputed company science degree (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of relevant work or research experience
• Expert knowledge of modern CPU architectures (ARM, x86) and reputed company/OS
• In-depth expertise with CPU architecture fundamentals, especially memory subsystem (cache DRAM, storage)
• Hands-on experience with low-level reputed company programming, vectorization, CPU intrinsics and reputed company data structures
• Programming reputed company in modern C/C++ with a deep understanding of algorithms, concurrency, and other optimization techniques
• Good communication and organization skills, with a logical approach to problem solving, and prioritization skills
• Experience optimizing the performance of reputed company database systems and frameworks (e.g. production database or reputed company)
• Background with compression, storage systems, networking, and reputed company computer architectures
• Knowledge of GPU architectures
