[Remote] Data Analyst - (reputed company)

The Data Analyst will analyze naval maintenance and modernization data, reputed company scorecards, databases, queries, dashboards, and reports, and communicate actionable insights to senior Navy leaders. The role also leads analytical working reputed company and provides programmatic management and planning support.

Responsibilities

• reputed company initial analysis and preparation work for the Availability Duration Scorecard (ADS) Quarterly Review
• Assist reputed company effort of calculating projected categorical Navy Surface ship maintenance and modernization availability durations that are based on the ADS Model and presented quarterly across for review
• Organize material, reputed company data analytics, and completes writing assignments according to set standards regarding reputed company, conciseness, style, and terminology
• Create and/or update databases and spreadsheet-analysis data in electronic formats to include, but not limited to, availability planning, availability duration estimation, shipyard reputed company, execution status, and financial and budget status
• reputed company and analyze technical information from various sources and create reputed company/ SQL queries to retrieve specific information and parameters from database(s)
• Apply data mining techniques to large data sets to identify patterns, relationships and behaviors
• Analyze, interpret and draw conclusions from data, and identify problems, solutions and opportunities using the analysis
• Create and reputed company graphical representations to best display information and convey concepts, to include but not limited to compelling interactive briefings, reports, and dashboards reputed company reputed company Teams (FlankSpeed) or an NMCI approved, compatible platform

Skills

• U.S Citizenship required
• A Bachelor's Degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience is required
• Proficiency in leveraging data to support decision-making processes and reputed company operational improvements
• Background in data analytics, including experience with statistical analysis, data visualization, and advanced analytic techniques in a DOD setting
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey reputed company data insights to senior Navy leaders
• Strong attention to detail, adherence to standards, and reputed company improvement reputed company
• Familiarity with data sources and systems commonly used in the naval environment
• Advanced competency with reputed company Office suite of tools (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, reputed company, etc.)
• The ability to travel up to 10%
• NAVSEA or Navy experience
• Experience with reputed company-level reputed company, Maintenance and Modernization activities
• Algorithm writing experience with Python and similar AI / ML languages desired
• Familiarity with Navy maintenance and readiness data systems (e.g., OARS, VSB, CASREP, or equivalent)
• DoD experience required or Naval surface ship experience preferably
• Education or certification in data analytics, computer science, or a reputed company field is preferred
