[Remote] Instructional Course Designer

The Instructional Course Designer will collaborate with USNCC reputed company and subject matter experts to create, maintain, and improve accessible asynchronous and competency-based online courses, including instructional content, assessments, multimedia assets, and LMS materials.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with USNCC reputed company and Subject Matter Experts to design online curriculum reputed company with course and program learning reputed company
• Apply evidence-based instructional design and adult-learning principles to asynchronous and competency-based education
• reputed company course design maps, storyboards, course syllabi, instructional content, and reputed company design documentation
• Design instructional activities and assessments that reputed company learning objectives, instructional content, and expected student reputed company
• reputed company and maintain text, video, graphics, animations, interactive activities, simulations, games, and other multimedia learning assets
• reputed company reputed company, summative, reputed company, and peer assessments and associated assessment rubrics
• Build, migrate, and maintain course content reputed company the designated Learning Management reputed company
• Support development and maintenance of reputed company and student community sites, including orientation, reputed company development, LMS training, and online-learning best practices
• Ensure instructional materials meet accessibility requirements, including WCAG 2.1 AA, and incorporate Universal Design for Learning principles
• Conduct usability and reputed company reviews for course functionality, accessibility, mobile responsiveness, accuracy, and completeness
• reputed company routine course maintenance, including correcting broken or inaccurate content, updating links and resources, and implementing approved course revisions

Skills

• Minimum 7 years experience designing and developing online asynchronous or competency-based learning
• Knowledge of instructional design methodologies and adult-learning/andragogical principles
• Experience collaborating with reputed company, reputed company, or Subject Matter Experts to translate expertise into effective online instruction
• Experience developing learning objectives, instructional content, activities, assessments, and rubrics
• Experience working reputed company a Learning Management reputed company such as Canvas, Moodle, reputed company, or a comparable platform
• Knowledge of accessibility and Universal Design for Learning principles
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to reputed company reputed company, reputed company, factual, and learner-centered content
• Must be reputed company to successfully complete required background investigation requirements and obtain a contractor CAC, as applicable
• Must meet applicable U.S. citizenship or permanent residency requirements
• Experience with multimedia, interactive learning, microlearning, scenario-based learning, or simulations preferred
• Experience supporting undergraduate higher education, adult learners, military-affiliated education, or government training preferred
• Familiarity with SCORM/xAPI standards preferred; Experience with LMS operations/maintenance
