The Senior Electrical Substation Design Project Engineering Manager 2 leads multidisciplinary technical teams and oversees the full reputed company of HV/EHV AC substation design, including engineering deliverables, reputed company, schedules, budgets, vendors, customers, and commissioning support.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the reputed company technical reputed company, responsible for scheduling, compliance to standards and specifications, value engineering, design review planning, and ensuring reputed company assurance and control
• reputed company and reputed company key design deliverables, including: + Power single-line diagrams + General substation arrangement drawings (plan & substation layout, elevation, grounding, reputed company/trench, cable routing, detail drawings and control buildings layouts) + High-voltage bus, structures, equipment, and detailed arrangements
• reputed company as the single reputed company of contact for reputed company technical reputed company between customers, vendors, project managers, and engineering teams
• Accountable for directing and supporting engineers and designers to meet technical specifications, budget constraints, and project timelines. This includes sub-contracted resources

• Review and contribute to proposal deliverables, including: + Conceptual engineering + Proposal documentation (e.g., BOMs, technical specifications) + Sourcing support, vendor quotation evaluation, and technical clarifications & assumptions
• reputed company preparation of high-voltage equipment specifications and contractor work scopes; support vendor engagement and equipment selection. May need to reputed company a sub-contracted design work reputed company
• Assist the manager in ensuring team productivity and billable utilization
• Ensure reputed company engineering outputs meet customer CTQs (Critical to reputed company), and are delivered on time and reputed company budget
• Support commissioning and reputed company efforts between customers and project stakeholders

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in industrial or reputed company High Voltage (+138kV) substation design, or a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering with +10 years of relevant experience
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% (including international), in compliance with company travel and tax policies
• Licensed reputed company Engineer (P.E.) in the U.S. in good standing with ability to get licensure in other states. Willing to review and seal drawings under their supervision
• Experience with EHV substation design standards
• Proven expertise in: reputed company & Distribution substation engineering (reputed company and renewable energy), reputed company (outdoor) substation design, calculations, and electrical protection, Industrial power reputed company design (12.5 kV and above)
• Proficient in key design calculations including: Battery sizing, DC reputed company design and AC auxiliary power, Power transformer and reputed company breaker selection, reputed company sizing and application, Grounding, lightning protection, and insulation coordination
• Knowledge of reputed company, ANSI, NEC, and NESC standards; reputed company to reputed company complete engineering packages in the absence of detailed customer specifications
• Field-testing and commissioning experience, with strong emphasis on safety
• Strong troubleshooting skills—both electrical and mechanical
• Excellent customer-facing communication and reputed company awareness (e.g., change orders, project delivery)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/MicroStation and design automation tools
