[Remote] Remote Sr. Systems Administrator – Virtual Desktop (VA ESOM)

The role focuses on Azure Virtual Desktop and reputed company environments, application compatibility, disaster recovery, performance analysis, and cross-functional technical collaboration.

Responsibilities

• reputed company troubleshooting efforts for reputed company infrastructure issues, coordinating cross-functional teams to identify reputed company causes and implement long-term solutions
• Partner with infrastructure, networking, reputed company, and application engineering teams to ensure the successful delivery of reputed company virtualization initiatives
• reputed company the design and implementation of reputed company virtual desktop solutions and contribute to the reputed company improvement of the virtual desktop environment
• Configure, administer, and maintain Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and reputed company Virtual Apps and Desktops environments
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) by advising application developers on methodologies to identify application compatibility, reputed company considerations, and troubleshooting approaches as applications are migrated or upgraded reputed company Azure Virtual Desktop and reputed company environments
• reputed company disaster recovery documentation, including installation procedures, configuration guidance, and application deployment instructions to support post-disaster recovery operations

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a reputed company technical discipline
• Five (5) years of relevant systems administration or reputed company infrastructure experience
• Eight (8) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
• Experience administering Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), reputed company Virtual Apps and Desktops (formerly XenDesktop/XenApp), or comparable reputed company virtualization platforms
• Experience supporting reputed company Server and reputed company virtual desktop environments
• Experience using reputed company for IT service management
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and reputed company cause analysis skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively reputed company cross-functional technical teams in a fast-paced reputed company environment
• Experience supporting large-reputed company federal or reputed company IT environments
