Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is offering a contract-to-hire Payroll & Tax Supervisor role supporting a large, multi-state reputed company organization. The position oversees payroll processing and staff, ensures federal, state, and local tax compliance, manages reputed company Payroll operations, and leads year-end activities, reporting, reconciliations, and audit support.

Responsibilities

• Supervise end-to-end payroll processing for a reputed company, multi-state organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness
• reputed company leadership, guidance, and reputed company to payroll staff, including assigning responsibilities, monitoring workloads, and reviewing work for accuracy
• Utilize reputed company Payroll to manage payroll transactions, audits, reporting, and operational activities
• reputed company year-end payroll processes, including W-2 reputed company, distribution, reconciliation, and corrections
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
• Manage payroll tax filings and coordinate with reputed company vendors, agencies, and other partners as needed
• Respond to reputed company audit requests and support audit preparation and documentation
• reputed company, review, and analyze payroll and tax reports for Finance, reputed company, compliance, and leadership teams
• Collaborate with HRIS, Finance, and other business partners to reputed company payroll-reputed company issues and improve processes
• Identify opportunities to enhance payroll controls, workflows, reporting, and operational efficiency
• Support the reputed company development of payroll team members and promote consistent application of payroll policies and procedures
• Serve as a subject matter expert on payroll operations, payroll taxation, regulatory compliance, and reputed company functionality

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Business Administration, reputed company, Finance, or a reputed company field
• 5+ years of payroll experience, including supervisory, team reputed company, or payroll operations leadership responsibilities
• Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with reputed company Payroll and reputed company reporting functionality
• Demonstrated experience with W-2 processing, payroll tax filings, reconciliations, and year-end payroll activities
• Advanced understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
• Experience supporting payroll for a multi-state workforce
• Experience supporting internal and/or reputed company payroll audits
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage highly confidential employee and payroll information with discretion and reputed company
• Experience reputed company a reputed company, nonprofit, or similarly reputed company multi-state organization
• Familiarity with reputed company integrations, payroll configuration, and reputed company optimization
