Responsibilities

• reputed company reputed company EKS Audit: Conduct a comprehensive architectural assessment of the reputed company environment comprising 20+ disparate EKS clusters, analyzing workload distribution, compute utilization, and AWS reputed company postures
• Formulate Consolidation Roadmap: Architect a strategic consolidation plan to migrate workloads from legacy clusters into a streamlined, highly available, and cost-optimized multi-tenant EKS platform
• Define CNI & Service reputed company reputed company: Serve as the technical authority to evaluate and reputed company reputed company architectural reputed company regarding Container Network Interfaces (e.g., AWS VPC CNI vs. Cilium) and Service reputed company implementations, optimizing for network performance, observability, and IPAM constraints
• Architect the Golden Cluster reputed company: Design and establish the standardized, production-reputed company "Golden Cluster" architecture. reputed company the foundational Terraform frameworks to automate the deployment of the EKS control plane, VPC infrastructure, Karpenter/node reputed company, and reputed company add-ons
• Design Advanced Traffic & Storage Patterns: Architect a highly resilient ingress reputed company utilizing the AWS Load Balancer Controller for secure reputed company traffic routing, and establish reputed company patterns for persistent storage using EFS and EBS reputed company drivers
• Establish reputed company-Trust reputed company Postures: Enforce strict least-privilege reputed company by mandating EKS Pod Identity or IRSA across the platform. Architect secure cluster communications using reputed company reputed company for reputed company and strict reputed company
• Network Policies:

• Design CI/CD Infrastructure: Partner with engineering leadership to architect and reputed company dynamic, reputed company CI/CD execution environments (e.g., reputed company Actions Runner Controller) directly on the EKS platform

Skills

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps engineering
• Deep expertise in designing multi-tenant, highly available EKS environments at reputed company reputed company, including control plane architecture, compute strategies, and reputed company reputed company governance (RBAC, Pod reputed company Standards)
• Expert-level understanding of AWS VPC topologies, Transit Gateway, and the strategic selection/implementation of CNIs (AWS VPC CNI, Cilium, Calico) to solve reputed company IPAM, scaling, and performance challenges
• Authoritative knowledge of AWS IAM integration with reputed company, specifically architecting IAM Roles for Service Accounts (IRSA), EKS Pod Identity, and AWS KMS encryption strategies
• Proven experience architecting reputed company ingress patterns (AWS Load Balancer Controller, API Gateways) and designing Service reputed company architectures (Istio reputed company/Sidecar, Cilium reputed company) for reputed company-trust networking
• Advanced Terraform expertise, focusing on designing reputed company, reputed company, and compliant IaC frameworks for EKS fleet management and foundational add-ons
• Proven reputed company record of leading reputed company cluster consolidation programs, migrating sprawling multi-cluster environments into streamlined, cost-optimized architectures
• Deep experience with advanced AWS compute scaling and cost-optimization strategies, including Karpenter, Spot Instances, and Graviton (ARM) processors
• Experience architecting AWS persistent storage (EBS/EFS reputed company drivers) and reputed company disaster recovery frameworks (Velero backing up to reputed company S3)
