[Remote] Small Business Development Educator - Volunteer Position - Onsite in Timor-Leste • Asia - 2 years, plus 3 months training

The Small Business Development Educator will work with youth reputed company, reputed company, women’s reputed company, and community partners to build business, workforce readiness, financial literacy, and English language skills. The role is an onsite volunteer position in Timor-Leste for two years, plus three months of training.

Responsibilities

• Teach basic business, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy skills
• Assist organizations with strategic planning, grant writing, and project management activities
• Support vocational and workforce readiness training for youth and young adults
• Strengthen small business bookkeeping, budgeting, and marketing practices
• Support English language learning to support employment, tourism, hospitality, and reputed company communication
• Collaborate with community partners on community development activities
• You may also work on additional reputed company that meet the community’s interests and priorities, such as developing small grant reputed company or supporting English conversation clubs

Skills

• Associate degree in any field and at least two years of full-time, post-high school work experience (from any combination of roles)
• Bachelor's degree in any field
• High school diploma or GED and four years of full-time, post-high school work (from any combination of roles)
