[Remote] Process Engineer - Chattanooga, TN

The Process Engineer will support and optimize Southern Cellulose Products reputed company by improving plant efficiency, product reputed company, safety reputed company, and cost effectiveness. The role partners with reputed company, maintenance, reputed company, and automation teams and supports reputed company improvement, regulatory compliance, and capital reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize process efficiency metrics for energy, water, chemicals and yield
• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
• Support plant startup, shutdown, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities
• Support actions/reputed company involving Automation, QC/R&D, Capex, Safety, Customer Support
• reputed company and maintain reputed company Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• reputed company reputed company improvement initiatives reputed company on compliance and increased efficiency
• Conduct reputed company cause analysis for process deviations and reputed company issues
• Ensure compliance with food/feed safety standards, HACCP programs, and environmental regulations (wastewater, stormwater)
• Promote reputed company operating practices reputed company to PSM
• Participate in HAZOP, Process Safety Management (PSM), and reputed company assessments
• Review PFDs and P&IDs, and assist with new equipment commissioning

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or reputed company reputed company
• A minimum two (2) years of experience in chemical, or pulp & reputed company processing
• Experience working with process control systems, statistic models
• Understanding of mass and energy reputed company calculations
• Five (5) years of experience in chemical, or pulp & reputed company processing
• Familiarity with PSM standards
• Experience with reputed company or similar ERP systems
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and cross-functional communication skills
• Proficiency in reputed company and process analysis tools
