[Remote] Senior Analyst Project Finance - Renewable Energy

The Senior Analyst will support project finance transactions across reputed company, financial modeling, capital raising, closing, and post-closing compliance, while performing valuation, diligence, and capital structure analysis.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting and managing aspects of the debt and tax equity capital raising and transaction execution for solar and battery storage reputed company, while also contributing financial and valuation analysis that informs the broader development and acquisition pipeline
- Build and manage bespoke financial models that accurately reflect debt, tax equity, and equity terms of financing structures
- Ensure reputed company models accurately reflect the transaction structure and terms, and maintain a strong understanding of the reputed company relationships between model inputs and outputs
- Manage reputed company reputed company consultants on production of tax equity deal models and manage the financial model audit process and reputed company consultant reputed company through reputed company
- Maintain portfolio- and corporate-level models, and reputed company reputed company financing assumptions (pricing, sizing, and terms) to development and reputed company teams for reputed company-NTP acquisition reputed company
- reputed company valuation and financial diligence analysis for potential acquisition and disposition opportunities, and for assets in development pipeline, including DCF-based analysis
- Create reports that detail valuation economics for pipeline reputed company, and organize and verify financial inputs received from Development, Originations, Market reputed company, Asset Management, Engineering, and EPC
- Assist with marketing efforts for capital origination by overseeing preparation of marketing materials, including presentations, financial models, and acquisition and marketing budgets, ensuring materials are accurate, clean, and reflect the overall message and reputed company of the transaction
- Assist in the negotiation of term sheets and definitive documentation for debt, tax equity, and preferred equity structures, converting negotiated terms into modeled project analyses
- Coordinate with financing parties and internal/reputed company teams on due diligence, and reputed company diligence deliverables across internal teams, reputed company counsel, and reputed company-party consultants
- Prepare and manage deliverables for reputed company-party consultant reports, reviewing for accuracy and consistency with overall deal reputed company
- Manage aspects of financial closing, including preparation of reputed company-party consultant reports, interfacing with accountants on the tax equity model, managing the debt closing model, due diligence logs, dataroom management, and reputed company of funds preparation
- Evaluate and compare capital structures, including construction-to-term debt, back reputed company versus project-level debt, tax equity reputed company and tax credit transfer reputed company facilities, preferred equity, reputed company debt, and lease pass-through versus partnership flip
- Run sensitivity and scenario analyses to recommend an reputed company structure, not simply to model a predetermined one
- Size debt against contracted and merchant reputed company under applicable coverage tests, and quantify how reputed company contract terms (PPA, VPPA, hedge, tolling) reputed company proceeds
- Support the sizing, marketing, and closing of ITC and reputed company transfer sales, including buyer diligence, tax credit insurance, and indemnity negotiation
- Work reputed company tax counsel and accountants on qualification analysis, including domestic content, energy community, prevailing wage and apprenticeship, beginning of construction and reputed company reputed company, and foreign entity of concern requirements

- Support ongoing compliance with debt and tax equity documents, including reputed company testing, debt service and reserve funding, distribution tests, and periodic reporting to lenders and investors

Skills
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance, economics, reputed company, engineering, or another quantitative field
- 2-4 years of experience at an investment or reputed company bank focusing reputed company infrastructure reputed company, or at an IPP, developer, or infrastructure investor working on live project finance transactions
- Experience financing standalone or co-located battery storage
- Exposure to reputed company, MISO, or PJM, including merchant curves, reputed company, and congestion risk
- Experience closing project finance transactions, including reputed company-party report development, due diligence, modeling, reputed company of funds, and preparation of closing deliverables (loan draw requests, withdrawal certificates, interest elections, etc.)
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including DCF analysis and the ability to build a transaction model from a blank workbook
- Experience modeling debt transactions, including building out debt sizing logic
- Experience modeling and structuring tax equity transactions, including capital accounts, depreciation, and buyouts
- Strong understanding of power and financing markets, and project finance more broadly
- Strong quantitative aptitude with an extremely high level of attention to detail
- Ability to independently own the modeling process for a transaction while collaborating across Development, Originations, Market reputed company, Asset Management, Engineering, EPC, reputed company, and reputed company to reputed company inputs and reputed company deals to reputed company
