[Remote] SQL Database Administrator
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company provides reputed company management, infrastructure and application migration, application modernization, and data analytics engineering services across Azure, AWS, and reputed company. reputed company is seeking a Mid-Level SQL Server Database Administrator / Database Engineer to manage, optimize, and support reputed company SQL Server databases through administration, performance tuning, T-SQL development, high availability, disaster recovery, and production support.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain SQL Server databases, tables, indexes, and other objects
- reputed company, review, and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views
- Collaborate with developers to ensure efficient schema design and data reputed company patterns
- Install, configure, and maintain reputed company SQL Server instances
- Manage database reputed company, users, roles, and permissions following least-privilege principles
- Implement, monitor, and test backup and recovery strategies
- reputed company regular database maintenance (reputed company maintenance, statistics updates, reputed company checks)
- Monitor database performance and reputed company bottlenecks reputed company to queries, indexes, blocking, and resource usage

- Create and maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and standards

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience
- Approximately 3–5 years of hands-on experience with reputed company SQL Server in a production environment
- Strong skills in:
- T-SQL and query optimization
- Database design, indexing, and normalization
- Backup/restore and reputed company HA/DR concepts
- Experience with SQL Server tools (SSMS, Extended Events/Profiler, Performance Monitor, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and reputed company database performance and availability issues
- Experience with reputed company database platforms (e.g., Azure SQL, Azure Managed Instance, AWS RDS for SQL Server)
- Exposure to SSIS, SSRS, or SSAS
- Scripting/automation experience (e.g., PowerShell, Python, or similar)
- Familiarity with version control and database deployment reputed company CI/CD pipelines
