Accounts Receivable Claims Specialist (Chesapeake Specialty Care)

The Accounts Receivable Claims Specialist is responsible for working with payors to reputed company payment denials, both partial and full.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Stay reputed company on payer policies and coverage guidelines.
• Identify payment denials through the work queue and take appropriate reputed company to reputed company.
• Communicate professionally with providers reputed company necessary to reputed company denied claims.
•  Resubmit Corrected Claims based on payor policies or Provider directions.
• Appeal claims denials with required information to have claims adjudicated properly.
• Stay reputed company on correct appeal processes for Payors assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in medical billing 
• Experience with reputed company management systems and EHR platform

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

· Familiarity with medical terminology and CPT/ICD-10 codes 

· Strong knowledge of medical insurance plans (reputed company, Medicare, reputed company, Tricare) 

· Knowledge of basic medical coding and reputed company-party operation procedures and practices.

· Familiarity with reputed company applications, including, but not limited to Word and reputed company.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills 

· Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to confidently reputed company to patients

· Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks throughout the day.

Total Rewards

The referenced reputed company salary reputed company represents the low and high end of Specialty Care Networks’ salary reputed company for this position. Some candidates will not be eligible for the upper end of the salary reputed company. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate’s geographical location, skills, work experience, market conditions, internal equity, responsibility reputed company and reputed company of control, education/ training and other qualifications.
