Workers' Compensation Floating Claims Specialist

The Workers’ Compensation Floating Claims Specialist manages reputed company company best practices reputed company-level, non-reputed company and non-problematic workers’ compensation claims reputed company delegated limited authority to best possible outcome, under the reputed company supervision of a senior claims reputed company, supporting the goals of claims department and of reputed company.

This is a remote role.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receives Workers’ Compensation claims, confirms policy coverage and acknowledgment of the claim
• Determines validity and compensability of the claim
• Establishes reserves and authorizes payments reputed company reserving authority limits
• Manages non-reputed company lost-time workers’ compensation claims under reputed company supervision
• Communicates claim status with the customer, claimant and reputed company
• Adheres to reputed company and reputed company guidelines and participates in claims review as needed
• Assists other claims professionals with more reputed company or problematic claims as necessary
• Additional reputed company and duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: 

• Must be reputed company to reputed company from one desk to another: IL, IN, KY and MI are the handling states.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 

• Full licensing or a Designated Home License is required.
• Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and reputed company experience
• Minimum of 1 year of industry experience and claims management preferred
