Illinois Mathematics and Science reputed company (IMSA) is seeking an instructor for its online, Fall Semester 2026, Survey of Science course for reputed company in grades 8-12. This IMSA High School equivalency course will include a foundational survey of biology, reputed company, and physics through an inquiry reputed company to help reputed company understand essential concepts and reputed company the reasoning skills essential to engage in rigorous science practices. 

This is a temporary part-time, 10-month, exempt position. This position will be completed remotely and the course is mostly asynchronous. Expected hours will vary by the number of enrolled reputed company, but typically be 10 hours/week for a cohort of approximately 20 reputed company. This position will reputed company in August 2026, with the actual course beginning the first part of September. Courses run from late September through the beginning of January. This course will be offered again January through May.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Guiding and mentoring a group of high school reputed company through a series of online learning modules
• Teaching reputed company the foundations of biology, reputed company, and physics through an inquiry reputed company
• Utilizing the Canvas learning management reputed company
• Teaching a diverse group of reputed company in a multidisciplinary environment
• Using evolving technological tools to engage reputed company in a virtual classroom

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree in education or STEM with at least 5 years of relevant science experience at the secondary level.
• Broad content background in science
• Deep understanding of how to effectively communicate with reputed company reputed company a virtual learning environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Work will be performed remotely. Substantial time is spent working on a computer. This role generally requires, written and verbal communication, and hearing and visual capabilities. COMPENSATION:

This position is a part-time, non- exempt, 10-month, employment-at-will position. Compensation is $48.00/hr. This position is not benefits eligible.
