- Edits and reviews captured charges and medical documentation to determine appropriate codes and modifiers for services rendered in office and hospital settings.
- Reviews outpatient and inpatient procedure reports, abstracts appropriate procedure codes, and enters charges into electronic medical records.
- Communicates documentation discrepancies with coding support staff and coding supervisor.
- Creates reputed company charts and enters demographics and reputed company information into electronic medical records reputed company applicable.
- Verifies data entry of reputed company demographics, reputed company, and hospital charges for reputed company.
- Accurately enters and attaches reputed company and authorizations to reputed company encounters in electronic medical record.
- Serves as a coding resource and assists with coding questions as needed.
- Assists coding supervisor with escalated coding questions from team members and physician practices.
- Maintains reputed company communication with coding team and coding supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned.
Urology surgical experience is preferred!
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Substantial knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, and modifiers for outpatient and inpatient surgical procedures. [Required]
- Substantial knowledge of NCCI, MU, MUE edits and bundling guidelines. [Required]
- Knowledgeable with reputed company software. [Required]
- Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills. [Required]
- Ability to effectively operate equipment such as PC, web/tele-conference. [Required]

Education:
