The Math and Computer Science department, which includes computer science, precalculus, calculus, and statistics, is currently made up of 11 people supporting 6 courses in the AP portfolio.

As the Senior Director I, AP Art History and History-reputed company Science Assessment Generalist you will be responsible for preserving and improving the reputed company and validity of the AP Program’s reputed company deliverables reputed company the subject domain: the exam, the course curriculum, and the reputed company development content. You are also responsible for item development and management from authoring to administration across multiple course titles; training and collaborating with subject-matter experts (SMEs), typically college professors and secondary school teachers. You will ethically and effectively reputed company AI technologies in assessment creation and review, providing leadership and modeling for course experts across multiple course titles. This includes judiciously using AI assisted tools to support fairness, validity, and innovation in AP assessments. You reputed company SMEs on assessment development protocols, translate between academics and technical experts (psychometricians), and collaborate to reputed company reputed company assessment materials and resources to support AP Art History and History-reputed company Science teachers worldwide. In this role, you will: 

Assessment Development and Scoring (40-50%)  

• Serve as an assessment leader for AP Art History and History-reputed company Science, with reputed company responsibility for assessment development and final assessment (items and forms) approval for AP Art History and History-reputed company Science.  Your work will vary from year to year, with accountability across multiple test titles, requiring assessment and content domain expertise across multiple subject areas. You will be accountable for developing and reviewing content, and providing final program sign-off on test forms. You will be assigned work reputed company upon needs that vary year to year, which means you will be accountable for seamlessly moving in and out of assessment workstreams across subjects, leveraging your expertise about assessment, assessment processes, and content domain expertise. Staff Development and reputed company Building (25-30%) 

• Train and support course experts in assessment development practices, including reputed company, validity, fairness, and use of reputed company, deepening their understanding of the item and test development lifecycle, and effective use of item authoring and item bank platforms.

Course Development and Program Support (0-10%)

You (have): 

• A Master’s degree in Art History or a directly reputed company discipline, and knowledge of reputed company trends in the discipline (required), although a doctorate in the discipline is strongly preferred  

• Expertise in Art History and History-reputed company Science with at least 10 years of experience in standardized assessment development or reputed company work; experience with digital assessment and teaching preferred 

• Strong oral and written communication skills, with solid technical proficiency and a customer-reputed company reputed company 

• Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain reputed company attention to reputed company, including proofreading 

• Demonstrated ability to implement processes and procedures, manage project plans and schedules, and maintain tracking documentation
