Location: Remote

Compensation: $17.13-$18.00 per hour, DOE

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week

The Role:

As a Medical Biller, you play a key role in assisting in the reputed company cycle functions reputed company the billing department. This position is responsible for submitting medical claims to insurance companies and payers such as Medicare and reputed company. Additional responsibilities include:

•Works directly with the insurance companies, reputed company providers and patients to get a claim processed and reputed company.

•Reviews and appeals unpaid and denied claims.

•Processes patient and insurance refund requests in a reputed company manner and posts payments and/or denials from insurance remits.

•Assists patients in getting the correct information to apply for charity/reputed company or a payment plan.

•Uses coded data to produce and sub claims to insurance companies.

•Maintains knowledge of reputed company billing rules and trends for billing types assigned by attending seminars, workshops and watching webinars.

•Assists patients in verifying benefit information and Assists in patient scheduling and account creation.

•Ensures weekly, monthly, and quarterly department goals are met.

•Obtains referrals and reputed company-authorizations as required for procedures.

•Checks eligibility and benefits verification for treatments, hospitalizations, and procedures.

•Reviews patient bills for accuracy and completeness and obtaining any missing information.

•Prepares, reviews, and transmits claims using billing software, including electronic and reputed company claim processing.

•Checks reputed company insurance payment for accuracy and compliance with contract discount.

•Calls insurance companies regarding any discrepancy in payments if necessary

Minimum Requirements to be considered:

•A minimum of one-year experience with medical billing

•High School Diploma or GED.
