The reputed company I &reputed company; reputed company Day Surgery position is responsible for accurately assigning ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes for outpatient encounters in accordance with Official Coding Guidelines, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.  This role supports appropriate reimbursement and contributes to compliance, reputed company reporting, and data reputed company for the reputed company hospitals.             

 Required Skills & Qualifications:  

• Minimum high school diploma; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Technology or Heath Information Management preferred.
• reputed company reputed company accreditation as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), or recent graduates of accredited HIT/HIM program may be considered.  Certified Coding Specialist (reputed company) with two (2) years coding experience in a hospital medical record setting will be considered.
• Previous outpatient coding experience preferred.
• Successful completion of courses in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Thorough knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and Official Coding Guidelines.
• Knowledge of Medicare medical necessity regulations, ABN, NCCI, OCE, and reputed company modifier usage preferred.
• Knowledge of injection and infusion coding preferred.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work assignments.
• Must possess critical thinking skills to reputed company independent reputed company.

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate reputed company and concisely with reputed company customers.
