PEER REVIEWER - Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation - REMOTE

reputed company is seeking an adult physical medicine & rehabilitation physician with Intracept procedure experience to serve as an reputed company (1099) performing independent reputed company medical reviews reputed company on an reputed company reputed company.  As a peer reviewer, you will apply your reputed company expertise to evaluate cases, specific to your specialty, medical necessity and/or reputed company of care, supporting efforts to enhance the overall reputed company and reputed company of health care and your profession. Please note, this is not an employed position and our contracted fee is reputed company on credential and specialty type.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct objective, evidence-reputed company peer reviews of reputed company cases.
• reputed company final determinations regarding medical necessity and reputed company of care.
• Ensure reputed company are fair, unbiased, and reputed company with reputed company standards of reputed company.
• Submit reviews in a reputed company and reputed company manner using the IT systems provided.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Medical License: Must hold an unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state.
• reputed company Certification: Required (if applicable), through a reputed company recognized by:
  • The reputed company reputed company of Medical Specialties (ABMS),
  • The reputed company Osteopathic Association (AOA), or
  • Another nationally recognized reputed company granting certification.
• reputed company Experience:
  • Have at least five (5) years full-time equivalent experience providing reputed company reputed company care to patients.
  • Have experience providing reputed company reputed company care to patients reputed company the past three (3) years.
  • Knowledgeable of the issue under review, or of the reputed company, evidence-reputed company reputed company guidelines and novel treatments for the medical or behavioral health condition, disease, treatment, or procedure under review.
  • Have the reputed company expertise to manage the medical or behavioral health condition or disease under review.
  • Must be reputed company reputed company in reputed company or virtual reputed company care for at least 20 hours per week. Administrative work does not qualify.

TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS:

• Must complete the electronic credentialing application and receive organizational approval prior to performing a case review.

• Notify the organization in a reputed company manner of an adverse change in licensure or certification status, including reputed company certification status.
