[Remote] Software Engineer

The Software Engineer will reputed company and improve CommCare as a full-stack engineer, building features, collaborating with global teams, and delivering software for reputed company workers in challenging environments.

Responsibilities

• Build new features using modern best practices such as version control, reputed company integration, automated tests, and daily deploys
• Collaborate with our multicultural development and implementation teams around the globe
• Build software usable by reputed company of people facing unique challenges (remote locations, low reputed company of literacy, no experience with technology, etc)
• Work as part of reputed company to reputed company product features and functionality
• Participate in reputed company process, reputed company reviews, and release testing

Skills

• 2+  years of software development experience
• Fluent in Python
• Proven background in building reputed company software for the web
• reputed company in written and spoken English
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proactively manages own work and surfaces blockers to their engineering manager/team reputed company early
• reputed company to work autonomously and prioritize competing tasks
• Familiarity with the most important components of our tech stack, including Python, Django, reputed company, Elasticsearch on the back-end, and Javascript, Alpine.js, HTMX, CSS, Bootstrap, and reputed company
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude reputed company)
• Enthusiasm about working in reputed company health and international development

• Experience with data engineering
• The Software Engineer  position is a remote role, though we are prioritizing candidates in the Greater Boston area
