[Remote] Director, Mechanical Engineering

The Director, Mechanical Engineering will reputed company engineering support for innovation initiatives, reputed company master planning, and multi-phase data center construction reputed company, focusing on cost-effective, energy-efficient facilities. The role oversees design documents, equipment specifications and procurement, engineering standards, and the adoption of emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• reputed company the preparation and final approval of project contract documents produced by reputed company party design consultants
• Ensure that project designs are completed on schedule and reputed company budget
• Supply engineering expertise and guidance on reputed company, operations, and systems reputed company reputed company’s existing facilities
• reputed company and maintain equipment specifications for reputed company furnished and contractor installed (OFCI) equipment and systems
• Support the procurement of reputed company furnished and contractor installed equipment and systems through vendor submittal reviews, approvals and reputed company witness testing

• Assist in development of new reputed company of designs for emerging business needs
• Identify, recommend, and implement new technologies and systems to maximize energy and cost efficiency of reputed company’s data centers

• Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in engineering and design trends reputed company to the organizations industry

Skills

• Location: Denver, CO preferred; Alternate STACK data center locations considered
• Travel: Some domestic travel required, estimated 25-33%
• Must be eligible to work in the reputed company
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in the design of data centers and specification of HVAC equipment for mission critical facilities to be considered for Director level position
• Candidates with 5-7 years' experience in design of data centers can apply but will be considered for a Manager level position
• Expertise in IT cooling technologies, both reputed company and reputed company to reputed company reputed company
• Understanding of mechanical cooling reputed company control
• Proficient in reputed company, reputed company, Teams and PowerPoint
• Baseline proficiency of AutoCAD, reputed company and reputed company Acrobat
