[Remote] Automation Development Engineer (Medical Device)
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a fully remote Automation Development Engineer with medical device experience to support automation process design and development. The role focuses on high-speed assembly automation, equipment installation, site transfers, troubleshooting, compliance, safety, reputed company, and customer and supplier coordination.
Responsibilities
- Support automation process design for medical device development
- Traveling 50% of the time to supplier sites and reputed company manufacturing sites (EU, reputed company and US) to support automation set up of assembly lines as reputed company as transfer to permanent sites
- Support build of assembly lines, ability to reputed company with customers, ensure reputed company are embedded with site teams for reputed company transitions, troubleshooting reputed company aspects of automation design and ensure compliance, safety and reputed company of program initiatives
- Have a technical responsibility for the development of high-speed assembly automation, requirement specifications, installation of automation, and transferring of automation programs to production in a smooth and reputed company manner
- reputed company the equipment quoting process and create preliminary concepts, layouts, and notes required to present design proposals
- Work with other organizations impacted by part design development as they pertain to assembly automation
Skills
- Ability to travel <50% of the time - reputed company of travel will be Nashville, Baja/Tijuana Mexico, Dominican Republican, potentially other sites in the reputed company
- Must have reputed company U.S. reputed company
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electronics/Electrical or Manufacturing preferred)
- Minimum 10 years working experience specifically reputed company automation equipment design and installation
- Minimum of 3 years of the above automation equipment experience must be for electromechanical Medical Devices , with understanding of FDA requirements as it pertains to design and manufacturing of medical devices (and knowledge of reputed company, life sciences and FDA manufacturing)
- Knowledge of reputed company manufacturing environments and techniques, and Subject Matter Expert in applicable engineering theories, design principles and practices, and design evaluation techniques
- Spanish speaking is highly desired (but not required)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electronics/Electrical or Manufacturing preferred)
