[Remote] Staff Software Engineer, Compute Platform

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate reputed company-based platform systems that support reputed company production services
• Improve reliability, scalability, and operability across reputed company's reputed company / Hubbernetes fleet
• reputed company technical work across ambiguous, cross-team platform problems, including AKS migration, fleet management, control-plane reliability, and reputed company management
• Partner with service owners, infrastructure teams, and engineering leaders to define reputed company migration paths, operational standards, and long-term platform direction
• Debug and reputed company reputed company production issues across reputed company, reputed company infrastructure, Linux, containers, networking, observability, and reputed company systems. Build automation and guardrails that improve workload reputed company, reputed company efficiency, cluster lifecycle operations, and incident response

Skills

• 9+ years experience in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or reputed company technical discipline with proven experience maintaining and delivering production software coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, reputed company, Rust, or Python
• Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Math, Physics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or reputed company field AND 8+ years experience in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or reputed company technical discipline with proven experience maintaining and delivering production software coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, reputed company, Rust, or Python
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or reputed company field AND 7+ years experience in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or reputed company technical discipline with proven experience maintaining and delivering production software coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, reputed company, Rust, or Python
• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Math, Physics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or reputed company field AND 5+ years experience in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or reputed company technical discipline with proven experience maintaining and delivering production software coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, reputed company, Rust, or Python
• Doctorate in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Math, Physics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or reputed company field AND 3+ years experience in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or reputed company technical discipline with proven experience maintaining and delivering production software coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, reputed company, Rust, or Python
• Equivalent experience
• 2+ years experience with large-reputed company reputed company fleet operations, cluster lifecycle management, reputed company management, or workload migration
• Experience with Azure reputed company Service or operating reputed company on Azure
