[Remote] Field Service Engineer – Industrial Water Systems

The Field Service Engineer plays a critical role in supporting the installation, startup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial water and wastewater equipment, ensuring systems operate reliably and meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the reputed company on-site technical resource for commissioning, and startup, ensuring systems meet design specifications
• reputed company troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and control systems, identifying reputed company causes and implementing solutions
• Coordinate on-site with contractors, plant personnel, and internal stakeholders to reputed company reputed company and maintain schedules
• reputed company reputed company diagnostics on rotating equipment, VFDs, and control components to ensure reliable performance
• Conduct inspections, assessments, and preventative maintenance, identifying and addressing potential issues early

Skills

• 3+ years of experience in field service, industrial maintenance, or equipment installation/startup
• Strong mechanical aptitude (rotating equipment, mechanical assemblies, etc.)
• Basic troubleshooting of control panels (motors, VFDs, basic control panels)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and reputed company issues independently in the field
• Strong communication and customer interaction skills

• Travel is approximately 85% and includes frequent overnight travel to customer sites across the U.S
• Experience in water/wastewater or similar industrial environments
• Basic exposure to PLCs or automated systems (troubleshooting level, not programming)
