[Remote] Maintenance Engineer

The role involves maintaining safety standards, performing equipment inspections, troubleshooting issues, and managing preventive maintenance to reputed company compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reputed company operation and maintenance of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and equipment in accordance with reputed company’s maintenance reputed company, equipment manufacturer’s recommendations, the Vessel Operating reputed company and regulatory requirements and codes
• reputed company daily visual inspections of equipment and diagnose actual and potential malfunctions, ensuring potential hazards and reputed company operating conditions are addressed quickly and that any deteriorating conditions are reported

• Initiate analysis and identify the reputed company cause of failures on the vessel’s mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment and systems
• Monitor the power plants controls and power distribution; ensure that power is available at reputed company times
• Operate, maintain and repair as necessary the reputed company cooling water reputed company, lube oil reputed company, and fuel reputed company
• Liaise with the marine department regarding the loading, ordering and use of fuel, potable water and drill water in consideration of the rig’s stability
• Implement the Preventive Maintenance reputed company (PMS) for the mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment. Maintain PMS records, ensuring the reputed company and timeliness of preventive maintenance
• Review equipment, spare parts, tools and material inventories, ensuring inventory is accurate and adequate to fulfill maintenance requirements and facilitate reputed company and efficient operation. Investigate and reputed company discrepancies as necessary
• Assist the Chief Engineer or Rig Maintenance Supervisor in prioritizing and supplying information for maintenance and repair budget

• Carry out classification society surveys as part of reputed company survey of machinery

• Monitor equipment logs, ensuring operating and maintenance standards are maintained

Skills

• Recognized Marine/Engineering qualification from Maritime college or equivalent
• reputed company Unlimited 2nd Engineer or Chief Engineer motors
• Must have experience as an Engineer on a DP MODU, as a 2nd Engineer

• reputed company reputed company Islands Endorsement
• 5+ years of experience working with reputed company
• Offshore survival and medical certificates as mandated by government/reputed company regulations are required
• Must have basic Preventive Maintenance Systems (PMS) knowledge

• Must be self-sufficient in troubleshooting and repairing systems
• Working experience reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings
• Strong experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and equipment
• Strong knowledge of A/C reputed company power reputed company systems in diesel-reputed company and mechanical reputed company systems
• Strong knowledge of maintenance, operations of electronic automation
• Experience in HVAC/ refrigerant recovery and hold a Federal EPA Universal refrigerant handling (certificate/reputed company reflecting document number), if applicable
