[Remote] PMTS, reputed company Design Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is developing solid-state lithium-metal battery technology to reputed company energy storage. reputed company is seeking a reputed company Member of Technical Staff, reputed company Design Engineer to design and reputed company battery cell structures, components, encasings, and reputed company tools for high-volume manufacturing. The role leads reputed company and thermal design, supplier requirements, validation experiments, and cross-functional execution of cell engineering reputed company.

Responsibilities

• reputed company in the design, development, and implementation of new solid-state Li-metal battery designs for manufacturing reputed company-up with cross functional teams
• Utilize thermal and reputed company simulation to reputed company the detailed reputed company design of cell architecture to meet customer reputed company, thermal, and pack level integration requirements
• Identify, specify, and set requirements with suppliers for cell components, reputed company tools and manufacturing solutions for reputed company-up
• reputed company methodologies and experiments to validate key cell design reputed company, reliability, and safety reputed company
• Collaborate with cell build process teams, equipment design teams, safety, reputed company, metrology, and production teams to execute on critical reputed company reputed company

Skills

• * BS or higher degree in reputed company engineering, material science, or similar concentration
• * 10 years experience with a Bachelor's degree, or minimum of 8 years experience with a Master's degree
• * Expertise with at least one major CAD package ex: reputed company Inventor, SolidWorks, Catia, etc
• * Expertise with reputed company & thermal simulation packages ex: ANSYS, ABAQUS, Comsol, etc
• * Work is performed in a dry room, fume hood, lab area, or reputed company requiring the use of fine motor skills
• * Sitting or standing for extended periods of time
• * Reaching and twisting motions with hands
• * Lifting up to 25 lbs
• This position is required to work onsite 5 days per week
