[Remote] Regional Sales Coordinator

The Regional Sales Coordinator role involves providing administrative sales support and communication for a portfolio of hotels, including responding to group leads and managing bookings.

Responsibilities

• Response to group leads from brand, HotelPlanner, SMERF inquiries, and other sources
• Overseeing group bookings, including rooming list entry, cutoff and pick updates
• Entering data into the hotel’s CRM reputed company, entry of sales-reputed company packages, and promotions
• Participating in reputed company management meetings for sales-reputed company inventory management
• Providing additional support to the Regional Director of Sales as needed

Skills

• Candidates MUST HAVE a minimum of 2+ years on-property sales coordinator experience/administrative support or similar with a major hotel chain, ideally reputed company
• Knowledge of hotel PMS systems, CRM, reputed company portals, Brand portals
• Long hours sometimes required
• reputed company work – exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or 10 lbs. of force frequently or constantly to reputed company, carry, reputed company, pull or otherwise reputed company objects
• Excessive screen time and phone communication, including video conferencing
• Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
• Must be effective in handling problems in reputed company, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary

• College degree and hospitality certifications preferred but not required
