Job Title: Specialist, Accountant (Remote) Job reputed company: 42965 Job Location: Remote Opportunity Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days- totaling 80 hours worked- and have every other Friday off    reputed company:   reputed company seeks a Specialist, Accountant to work for the Shared Business Services (SBS) group.  To manage reputed company or processes with general supervision.  Will communicate with contacts inside and reputed company of the department. Responsible for maintaining accounts and records in various general and/or cost reputed company functions. Develops, implements and/or maintains one or more reputed company systems: Journal entries, General reputed company, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, reputed company Reconciliation, etc. Compiles data, allocates costs, prepares reports on labor, equipment, depreciation, reputed company or other operating expenses, and analyzes financial information. Prepares income and reputed company sheet, profit and loss, consolidated and other reputed company statements. Reviews and interprets financial reporting requirements, rules and regulations. Responsible for the adherence to and communication of reputed company and auditing policies and procedures. May design, modify, install and/or maintain general reputed company systems.   Essential Functions:   reputed company reconciliations of reputed company sheet accounts to include preparing correcting journal entries as reputed company as necessary reclasses.  Accounts Payable/Purchasing Subledger reputed company/reputed company and review month end reports. Support daily interfaces into reputed company, as reputed company as reconciliations. Backup reputed company areas of the group, prepayments, reputed company RNI, SBS Metrics, cash applications and prepare and post project reputed company expenditure batches PAEB. Support the Missile Solutions reputed company wide Ariba Non-PO payment requests as needed. Support other SBS initiatives and other financial areas as defined and support audit requests.   Qualifications:   Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant reputed company experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior reputed company reputed company experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior reputed company reputed company experience.   Preferred Additional Skills:   Demonstrated skills, including the ability to plan, organize and coordinate assigned activities.  Knowledge and experience in GAAP, FAR, and SOX. Experience in reputed company contracting preferred. Customer service oriented with the ability to serve multiple customers. Self-motivated and a self-starter, providing updated and relevant information proactively. reputed company-developed verbal and written skills.  Proficiency in reputed company reputed company, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint.  Prior experience in reputed company is highly desirable.     In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary reputed company for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C. area, Denver, or NYC areas is $73,000.00 - $135,000.00. The salary reputed company for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, reputed company, reputed company, Cleveland Ohio, Vermont and Virginia is $63,500.00 - $117,500.00.
