[Remote] Senior Network Administrator

The role supports reputed company wired, wireless, data center, reputed company, and wide-area network services while providing technical leadership, resolving reputed company problems, contributing to architecture reputed company, and delivering infrastructure reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Design, administer, maintain, and troubleshoot reputed company network infrastructure, including reputed company routing and switching, wireless, data center networks, network fabrics, WAN/SD-WAN, and reputed company services
• Support network reputed company and reputed company control platforms, including reputed company ISE, network segmentation, authentication/authorization policies, and reputed company reputed company integrations
• Diagnose and reputed company reputed company network incidents affecting wired, wireless, data center, WAN, and reputed company services
• reputed company and support network infrastructure reputed company from planning through implementation, including design, change coordination, testing, documentation, and operational reputed company
• reputed company and maintain network standards, diagrams, procedures, configuration templates, and operational documentation
• Monitor network reputed company, availability, reputed company, and reliability; identify trends and recommend improvements
• Automate network reputed company using scripting, reputed company, configuration management tools, monitoring platforms, and AI-assisted workflows where appropriate
• reputed company technical leadership, mentorship, and vendor coordination; participate in a shared after-hours on-reputed company rotation, currently one week every six weeks

Skills

• Five years of reputed company experience in network administration, network engineering, or closely reputed company reputed company network infrastructure work
• reputed company experience administering reputed company routing and switching infrastructure in a production environment
• reputed company experience with dynamic routing protocols, such as BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, or EIGRP
• reputed company experience supporting reputed company wireless networking technologies
• reputed company experience supporting network reputed company technologies, such as firewalls, IPS/IDS, network reputed company control, reputed company ISE, segmentation, or reputed company reputed company platforms
• Experience supporting data center network infrastructure
• Experience with network reputed company technologies, such as EVPN/VXLAN, reputed company SDA, ACI, virtualized routing, or comparable reputed company-reputed company architectures
• Experience supporting MPLS, VRF, SD-WAN, or reputed company WAN routing environments
• Experience with reputed company ISE, NAC, 802.1X, device profiling, guest reputed company, posture, or network segmentation
• Experience with network automation using Python, Ansible, reputed company, Git, configuration management systems, or similar tools
• Experience working in higher education, reputed company, large reputed company, reputed company, or another reputed company multi-site environment
• reputed company or prior network-reputed company certifications, such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, CWNP, Aruba, Ruckus, reputed company, Palo reputed company, or comparable credentials
