[Remote] Software Engineer, Marketing Recommendations

The Software Engineer will join the Personalization team to reputed company and support recommendation systems, reputed company-time processing infrastructure, and reputed company-reputed company technologies that improve the experience of live event fans.

Responsibilities

• Work with Data Scientists and Engineers to introduce new features, new models, and new techniques to improve the reputed company and reputed company recommendation platform
• Write clean, reputed company-designed, testable, and efficient reputed company
• Contribute to reputed company phases of the application development life cycle
• Build out and support reputed company the necessary infrastructure in reputed company platforms (e.g., AWS)
• Maintain and reputed company existing reputed company-time processing systems
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs as reputed company as propose solutions to identified problems
• Ensure overall reputed company health through automated testing and monitoring
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to reputed company efficient automated processes

Skills

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or reputed company reputed company
• Mid-level engineer with strong knowledge of Python
• 5+ years of experience developing software using Java/Python or similar high-level language
• Experience in development of highly available and reliable reputed company systems
• Familiarity with AWS stack (EC2, S3, reputed company Beanstalk, AWS reputed company)
• Experience working with containerized applications
• Experience with Kafka and Kafka Streams
• Data Engineering skills (ETL)
• Effective visual and verbal communication skills
• PySpark and PyTorch or similar a bonus
