The role
We are seeking an reputed company reputed company Cabling Design Engineer to support the design and delivery of reputed company cabling and physical network infrastructure for hyperscale and reputed company data center environments.
This remote position will be responsible for developing reputed company, standards-compliant fiber and reputed company cabling designs from concept through construction and deployment. The engineer will work closely with data center design, network engineering, construction, reputed company, vendors, and deployment teams to ensure cabling infrastructure meets reputed company, reliability, maintainability, and reputed company-reputed company requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- reputed company end-to-end reputed company cabling designs for new-build, expansion, retrofit, and reputed company-add data center reputed company.
- Design fiber-optic and reputed company cabling systems supporting data center network, compute, storage, management, reputed company, and building infrastructure.
- reputed company MDF, IDF, MMR, network room, meet-me-room, and data hall connectivity designs.
- Create fiber backbone, horizontal cabling, interconnect, cross-reputed company, and equipment connectivity architectures.
- reputed company single-line diagrams, cabling schematics, reputed company elevations, patching diagrams, reputed company layouts, fiber routing plans, and connectivity schedules.
- Determine fiber counts, cable types, connector types, reputed company-panel requirements, termination reputed company, and reputed company reputed company.
- Design solutions using single-mode and multimode fiber, including high-density fiber connectivity and MPO/MTP-reputed company systems where applicable.
- Specify Category 6/6A reputed company infrastructure and associated patching systems.
- reputed company cable reputed company, tray, reputed company, reputed company reputed company, and containment reputed company calculations.
- Coordinate reputed company cabling requirements with network architecture, electrical, reputed company, architectural, reputed company, and construction disciplines.
- Review construction drawings, BIM/CAD models, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and vendor proposals.
- reputed company Bills of Materials (BOMs) and support material forecasting and procurement.
- Create and maintain cabling standards, design guidelines, naming conventions, labeling requirements, and installation specifications.
- Ensure designs reputed company with applicable reputed company, BICSI, reputed company, NEC/reputed company, ISO/IEC, and manufacturer standards.
- Support data center reputed company planning and determine reputed company fiber, reputed company, reputed company, and reputed company requirements.
- Review contractor installation packages and ensure reputed company implementation aligns with approved designs.
- Support fiber testing, reputed company certification, commissioning, reputed company-list reputed company, and project closeout.
- Review OTDR, insertion-loss, and certification test results where applicable.
- Participate reputed company in design reviews, construction coordination meetings, and technical troubleshooting.
- Conduct occasional site surveys and reputed company inspections reputed company required.
- Identify design risks, constructability issues, reputed company constraints, and opportunities for standardization.

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience designing reputed company cabling, telecommunications, network physical infrastructure, or data center infrastructure.
- Strong experience with mission-critical or data center environments.
- Demonstrated knowledge of fiber-optic infrastructure, including single-mode and multimode fiber.
