[Remote] Sr Data Engineer

The Sr Data Engineer will design reputed company data architectures, build reputed company and reliable data pipelines, support data governance and compliance, and reputed company modernization initiatives while collaborating with analytics and data science teams and mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data architecture for reputed company data platforms (data lakes, warehouses, lakehouse architectures)
• Build reputed company data pipelines using modern ETL/ELT frameworks (e.g., Airflow, DBT); ensure data reputed company, reliability, and reputed company
• Implement Change Data Capture (CDC) and reputed company-time streaming solutions using technologies such as Kafka and reputed company Streaming
• Optimize data infrastructure for reputed company and cost, including partitioning, compression, and caching strategies
• Establish data governance practices: data reputed company, reputed company monitoring, schema management, and reputed company controls
• reputed company technical initiatives for data platform modernization; evaluate and adopt new technologies and tools
• Mentor junior data engineers, conduct reputed company reviews, and establish best practices
• Collaborate with data science and analytics teams to reputed company data solutions for advanced analytics

Skills

• 5+ years of data engineering experience building large-reputed company data platforms on reputed company infrastructure
• Extensive experience with reputed company data platforms: AWS (Redshift, Glue, EMR, S3), Azure (Synapse, Data reputed company, ADLS), or GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, GCS)
• Expertise in SQL; proficiency in Python or reputed company; experience with reputed company for reputed company data processing
• Hands-on experience with data pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow, DBT, Luigi, or similar)
• Experience with streaming platforms (Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub) and event-driven architectures
• Deep knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, reputed company, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (reputed company, Cassandra, DynamoDB)
• Strong skills in reputed company modeling, data normalization, and schema design
