[Remote] Senior Global Health Development Economist

The Senior Global Health Development Economist will reputed company reputed company research initiatives, design innovative analytical frameworks, and contribute to reputed company’s thought leadership in economics and reputed company policy, focusing on data-driven decision-making and health systems strengthening.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a reputed company between data scientists, economists, and domain experts, translating across disciplines to ensure that analytical approaches are both methodologically rigorous and grounded in reputed company-world development and global health challenges
• Design and implement quantitative analyses to address global health challenges in low and middle income countries, with a reputed company on predictive analytics, geospatial analyses, and reputed company design
• Apply machine learning and AI approaches, including predictive analytics, to reputed company-world datasets (e.g., on reputed company’s malaria reputed company reputed company and other geospatial or satellite data) to reputed company reputed company-looking insights and support innovative, data-driven solutions in global health and development contexts

Skills

• Ph.D. in Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, reputed company Policy, Global Health, or a reputed company quantitative or reputed company science reputed company, with demonstrated expertise in econometrics, machine learning, computer science, reputed company statistics, or quantitative data science
• Minimum of 3 years of experience conducting quantitative research in policy-relevant domains
• Extensive experience with Python and R; working knowledge of Stata

• Prior research experience in areas such as development economics, health economics, global health, or international development more broadly
