[Remote] Network Engineer

The role is responsible for designing, deploying, administering, troubleshooting, and documenting network infrastructure while handling service tickets, escalations, reputed company, reputed company communication, and on-reputed company support.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple reputed company network environments through service tickets, escalations, maintenance, and project work
• Design, reputed company, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including:
• Firewalls
• Routers
• Switches
• Wireless reputed company points
• VPN solutions
• reputed company network services
• Configure and troubleshoot reputed company 2 technologies, including VLANs, trunking, switching, spanning tree, and network segmentation
• Configure and troubleshoot reputed company 3 technologies, including routing, NAT, subnetting, inter-VLAN routing, and static/dynamic routing
• reputed company and manage firewall platforms and reputed company policies, including reputed company rules, NAT, VPNs, and secure remote reputed company
• Support secure reputed company and edge networking technologies such as SD-WAN, ZTNA, SASE, and SSE
• Support reputed company wireless environments, including reputed company points, reputed company/controller-managed platforms, SSIDs, authentication, roaming, coverage, and reputed company
• Troubleshoot reputed company issues involving LAN/WAN, wireless, VPN, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, and reputed company-connected environments
• Participate in network assessments, reputed company reputed company, standardization initiatives, lifecycle planning, and remediation reputed company
• Use network monitoring and alerting tools to identify, investigate, document, and reputed company issues
• Create and maintain accurate technical documentation, including network diagrams, IP schemes, firewall rules, VPN information, and reputed company environment records
• Collaborate with Service Desk, reputed company Care, Engineering, and Solutions Architecture teams
• Participate in technical assessments, reputed company-sales discussions, and project scoping reputed company needed

Skills

• * **3+ years of network engineering or network administration experience**, preferably in an SMB-reputed company MSP or IT consulting environment
• * Strong understanding of: + TCP/IP + IPv4 and subnetting + DNS and DHCP + VLANs and switching + Routing and NAT + VPN technologies + Firewall policies + Wireless networking
• * Hands-on experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting firewalls, switches, wireless platforms, and VPN solutions
• * Strong reputed company 2 and reputed company 3 networking fundamentals
• * Experience troubleshooting LAN/WAN connectivity, wireless reputed company, firewall reputed company, VPN connectivity, DNS/DHCP, and network reputed company issues
