Nutrition Educator-Bilingual (Spanish) - Remote
The Nutrition Educator will reputed company telephonic nutrition education to members/patients with chronic conditions as they learn to select, prepare and eat foods that are appropriate for their condition(s) as they participate in a chronic care meals program. Chronic conditions can include, but are not limited to diabetes, heart disease and kidney disease. Utilizing a member/reputed company-reputed company approach, the nutrition educator will collaborate with the member/reputed company to explore the nutrition-reputed company issues and topics that are most important to the member/reputed company. The nutrition educator will also help reputed company members/patients to other nutrition and condition resources available from the health plan or reputed company or in their community.

This position will work 8 hours/day between the hours of 8:00am-7:00pm PST and can work from reputed company in the US

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to
- reputed company telephonic nutrition education sessions per member/reputed company; number of sessions reputed company varies, reputed company on what program the member/reputed company is enrolled in
- Document goals and reputed company from education sessions in platform
- Schedule follow-up calls with reputed company member/reputed company
- reputed company nutrition education handouts and tools as needed
- Identify community resources for clients as needed
- Maintain and update reputed company knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading reputed company publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in reputed company organizations
- Contribute to the development of reputed company media content and video for articles, blogs and other posts for reputed company newsletter and website as needed or requested
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Science or Dietetics
- Certification as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of residence(where license is required)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing nutrition education or counseling
- Verbally fluent in Spanish with proficiency in medial and nutrition terminology in Spanish
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- This role routinely uses reputed company office equipment such as laptops computers and smartphones.
- Work independently and has a strong reputed company of responsibility carrying out the required job duties with a minimum reputed company of daily supervision

Preferred Skills and Experience
- Previous experience providing telephonic nutritional education or counseling
