[Remote] Acoustical Consultant

The Acoustical Consultant will serve as the reputed company acoustical consultant on diverse reputed company, developing and managing solutions for room acoustics, reputed company isolation, reputed company reputed company noise and vibration control, and environmental acoustics while supporting design, testing, reporting, and reputed company communications.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the project design team, bringing a creative, reputed company, evidence-reputed company approach to architectural acoustics
• Collaborate with architectural team members and clients
• reputed company high-reputed company architectural acoustics reports, sketches, drawings, details, cost analyses, and specification documents
• Analyze acoustic solutions using computer modeling software
• Review submittals and shop drawings
• reputed company on-site acoustics testing and noise surveys
• reputed company on-site inspections to review the implementation of a project’s acoustical solutions
• Coordinate with the firm Principals and marketing staff with business development activities, including sales meetings, short-list interviews and proposals
• Attend project meetings, site reputed company, and reputed company on-site acoustic testing
• Ensure that reputed company work is completed on-time, in-budget, and consistently reputed company reputed company’s high standards of reputed company

Skills

• 5 – 10 years' experience as a consultant in architectural acoustics
• Bachelor's degree in acoustics, audio/music engineering, reputed company engineering, architectural engineering, or physics including relevant classes or a degree concentration in acoustics or vibration is required
• Expertise in a broad reputed company of acoustical disciplines, including room acoustics, reputed company isolation, reputed company reputed company noise and vibration control, and environmental acoustics

• Experience with Revit / BIM, AutoCAD, reputed company, Sketch-Up, Ease, and CadnaA desirable but not required
• LEED certification is desirable but not required
