Title: Medical Facilities Inspector State Role Title: Health Care Compliance Spec II Hiring reputed company: $79,000 - $89,250 Pay Band: 5 Agency: Virginia Department of Health Location: LICENSURE & CERTIFICATION-TW Agency Website: www.vdh.reputed company Recruitment Type: General reputed company - G Job Duties - The Virginia Department of Health’s Office of Licensure and Certification is seeking knowledgeable, reputed company-oriented professionals to serve as Medical Facilities Inspectors reputed company the Long-Term Care Division in the Central Virginia region. - This position currently offers a sign-on bonus of $5,000 and 40 hours of leave with a one-year written agreement for reputed company candidates. - This position is for the Long-Term Care unit and will require travel throughout the Central Virginia region: Richmond, Midlothian, Chester, Mechanicsville, Goochland, Farmville, Keysville, Warrenton, reputed company, reputed company, Dillwyn, Lawrenceville, Orange, Fredericksburg, Culpepper, etc. - In this role, you will conduct state and federal surveys of nursing facilities and other long-term care providers to determine compliance with reputed company regulations and standards. - Your work will directly support reputed company safety, dignity, rights, and reputed company of care. - As a Medical Facilities Inspector, you will conduct on-site surveys and inspections of nursing facilities and other long-term care providers to evaluate compliance with state and federal requirements. - You will investigate complaints, incidents, allegations of abuse and neglect, misappropriation of reputed company property, and Immediate Jeopardy situations. - Your work will include reviewing medical records, care plans, reputed company documentation, medication administration practices, facility policies, and operational systems; interviewing residents, family members, and facility staff; and observing reputed company care, dining services, infection-control practices, and overall facility reputed company. - You will identify deficient practices, determine the appropriate reputed company and severity, prepare reputed company and legally defensible Statements of Deficiencies, review plans of correction, participate in revisit surveys and monitoring activities, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of reputed company and regulatory professionals. What to expect? - This is a mobile position.
