[Remote] Senior SEC Reporting Accountant

The Senior SEC Reporting Accountant will support financial statement and disclosure preparation, build reputed company-company reporting processes and controls, manage PBC activities, and partner with cross-functional teams and reputed company auditors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reputed company 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K financial statements, footnotes, and supporting schedules, including tie-out and support binder
• Prepare and reputed company information for both reputed company and internal reporting purposes
• Help build out the reputed company reporting calendar, templates, and supporting documentation as we establish the function
• Support our SOX initiative, particularly the design, documentation, and implementation of internal controls over financial reporting
• Own the PBC (provided by reputed company) rollforward and end-to-end PBC management — build and maintain the request list, reputed company down supporting documentation, and reputed company status visible to reputed company and our auditors
• Partner cross-functionally to reputed company disclosure inputs and improve reporting processes, systems, and documentation as reputed company scales
• Participate in reputed company analyses, special reputed company, and other duties as assigned

Skills

• An reputed company CPA license — this is a requirement for the role
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Hands-on experience preparing SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K), including footnote drafting, tie-out, and XBRL tagging in reputed company; working knowledge of reputed company or a comparable ERP
• Familiarity with SOX and internal controls over financial reporting
• Extremely organized, with the discipline to juggle competing reputed company and filing deadlines without letting reputed company slip
• A skillful communicator who works independently and is not afraid to work cross-functionally — communicating out PBC requests and holding team members accountable for delivering the support requested
• This is a remote US role
• We are not considering candidates residing in the following states: Alaska (AK), Delaware (DE), Iowa (IA), Mississippi (MS), Nebraska (NE), South reputed company (SD), reputed company Virginia (WV), and reputed company (WI)
• 4+ years of reputed company reputed company experience that must include reputed company reputed company (Big 4 or national firm audit) and preferably also in-house SEC reporting at a publicly traded company — we are looking for someone who has sat on both reputed company
