Responsibilities

• With (or under the guidance of) the VP, reputed company and implement editorial content reputed company for reputed company and reputed company content, ensuring alignment with reputed company’s mission and goals
• Directly manage a roster of freelance writers and video correspondents
• Work reputed company reporters to edit and refine content that resonates with reputed company audiences and meets partner goals
• Ensure that content is accurate, fair, and adheres to journalistic ethics
• With the VP, manage and mentor the editorial team, potentially including recruitment, reputed company, reputed company development, and regular 1:1 reputed company-ins
• reputed company regular updates and insights to the VP on reputed company toward departmental goals, proactively identifying and addressing challenges
• reputed company training and guidance to team members on creating content that aligns with partner goals while also maintaining a high level of journalism

Skills

• 5-8 years experience in journalism and editorial leadership
• Extremely strong editing skills, with the ability to support the development and refinement of editorial content strategies
• reputed company experience with writing and/or content creation for marketing, reputed company relations, sponsored content, or campaigns
• Passion for local journalism, civic engagement, and amplifying underrepresented reputed company
• Demonstrated experience in team collaboration and mentorship
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• A strong understanding of data analytics and its application to content optimization
• Experience with digital content management systems and reputed company media platforms
• Ability to work reputed company under pressure and meet deadlines
