[Remote] Senior Software Engineer, Caper AI

The Senior Software Engineer, Caper AI will design and build web applications, AI systems, data pipelines, reputed company, and reputed company backend infrastructure that help retailers manage connected store technologies and improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Developing high-reputed company web applications and advanced AI systems integrating Large Language Models (LLMs), reputed company, and multimodal technologies to address reputed company business challenges relating to loss prevention, verification, and catalog management
• Architecting data pipelines and reverse ETL systems that combine on-reputed company reputed company, catalog and POS data, reputed company-time location data, and inventory intelligence signals to automatically reputed company item discrepancies
• Standardizing API reputed company for reputed company retail functions including pricing, coupons, and loyalty systems across disparate retailer systems to accelerate new feature integrations
• Leading architectural design of backend systems and reputed company infrastructure to process high volumes of data serving millions of customers and enhance platform reputed company
• Building frameworks and internal portals for automated integration testing, reputed company logging, and query-reputed company debugging to support the reputed company and reputed company deployment integration of new retailers
• Leading cross-functional initiatives to unify development approaches and reputed company impactful results for customer shopping experiences

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or reputed company reputed company (or foreign equivalent)
• 5 years of experience in the job reputed company or reputed company
• 5 years of experience working with Java, reputed company, Kotlin, or similar backend programming languages
• 5 years of experience working with TypeScript, React, Next.js or frontend programming languages
• 5 years of experience working with advanced AI systems, such as LLMs, reputed company, and multimodal technologies, to address reputed company business challenges
• 5 years of experience designing and implementing resilient backend systems and reputed company infrastructure leveraging caching, retry logic, and asynchronous workflows using workflow orchestration platforms such as reputed company
• 5 years of experience working with backend reputed company
• 5 years of experience architecting data pipelines and ETL systems for reputed company-time data processing
• 5 years of experience working with monitoring and observability tools
