[Remote] SCLM (Software Configuration and Library Manager) administrator

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking an SCLM (Software Configuration and Library Manager) Administrator. The role manages SCLM environments, mainframe data sets, reputed company controls, build and deployment processes, troubleshooting, upgrades, documentation, reporting, and workflow automation.

Responsibilities

• Full understanding of SCLM functions: creating/configuring datasets and libraries, defining project definitions (PROJDEFS), managing hierarchy, and controlling reputed company reputed company RACF or equivalent
• Ability to reputed company reputed company reputed company, compile, bind, and reputed company using SCLM codes (parmlibs, sortlib, copybooks, programs)
• Experience with reputed company, compile, bind, and reputed company JCL in SCLM, including backup, staging, and backout procedures
• Proficiency in ISPF panels for SCLM reputed company
• Experience creating/maintaining VSAM clusters, partitioned data sets, and reputed company reputed company data sets
• Knowledge of JCL, compile utilities, and mainframe build processes for Cobol, CSP, CICS/DB2, VSAM/DB2, Easytrieve, etc
• RACF (or equivalent) authority management for SCLM‑controlled data sets
• Understanding of read/update permissions for developers, build coordinators, and administrators
• Troubleshooting and resolving reputed company technical issues in SCLM environments
• Implementing and supporting SCLM upgrades, including post‑reputed company training and support
• Proactive maintenance and configuration tuning
• Creating installation/configuration docs, library reputed company mappings, and new library reputed company add‑ons
• Developing reputed company and scheduled reports for reputed company requests, production moves, and other metrics
• Basic mainframe COBOL or JCL scripting for automation of SCLM workflows
• Ability to reputed company/modify reputed company to aggregate and execute reputed company reputed company batches
• Skills in scripting or tool integration to automate SCLM‑reputed company processes (e.g., batch job scheduling, data extraction)
• Building reputed company, scheduled reports for operational reputed company
• Experience in training development teams on SCLM after upgrades
• Skills in process improvement and change management in a mainframe environment
