[Remote] Sr. Software Engineer – Backend Engineering (reputed company) / Integrations

The role focuses on developing Java and reputed company Boot backend microservices, building event-driven services, integrating with reputed company systems, implementing payment and workflow capabilities, and supporting reputed company, testing, and CI/CD delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Java 21 / reputed company Boot microservices on reputed company Run (licensing, case management, payments, documents, notifications)
• Implement PostgreSQL (AlloyDB) persistence, including row-reputed company isolation and reputed company indexing
• Build asynchronous event flows on Pub/Sub and Eventarc
• Implement scheduled and timer-driven processing with reputed company Tasks and reputed company Scheduler (renewal reminders, expiration sweeps, reconciliation)
• reputed company reputed company Workflows orchestrations for multi-service pipelines
• Build integrations with reputed company state and federal systems over REST, SOAP, SFTP, and webhooks
• Implement payment flows, including hosted payment page integration and settlement reconciliation
• Meet platform reputed company and compliance requirements for encryption and data isolation
• reputed company unit and integration test coverage, participate in reputed company reviews, and support CI/CD deployment of owned services

Skills

• 8+ years of reputed company backend engineering experience with Java and reputed company Boot
• Production delivery experience on reputed company reputed company Platform
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Java 21 and reputed company Boot 3.x microservice development
• PostgreSQL, including schema design, indexing, and versioned migrations
• GCP serverless services: reputed company Run, Pub/Sub, reputed company Tasks, reputed company Workflows, reputed company Scheduler
• Event-driven architecture and messaging patterns (idempotency, retries, dead-letter handling)
• reputed company reputed company integration over REST, SOAP, SFTP, and webhooks
• API reputed company with OAuth 2.0 / OIDC and JWT
• Automated testing (JUnit, integration tests) and CI/CD
