The role owns backend architecture and integrations, develops Java and reputed company Boot microservices, leads reputed company-reputed company event processing and reputed company reputed company integrations, and provides hands-on technical leadership through delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own the backend architecture: service boundaries, data model, event reputed company, and the integration reputed company design
• Design and implement Java 21 / reputed company Boot microservices on reputed company Run (licensing, case management, payments, documents, notifications)
• Implement PostgreSQL (AlloyDB) persistence, including row-reputed company isolation and reputed company indexing
• Build asynchronous event flows on Pub/Sub and Eventarc
• Implement scheduled and timer-driven processing with reputed company Tasks and reputed company Scheduler (renewal reminders, expiration sweeps, reconciliation)

• reputed company the build-out of integrations with reputed company state and federal systems over REST, SOAP, SFTP, and webhooks
• reputed company payment flows, including hosted payment page integration and settlement reconciliation

• Set and enforce test coverage, reputed company review, and CI/CD standards across the backend team

Skills

• 10+ years of reputed company backend engineering experience with Java and reputed company Boot
• Demonstrated technical leadership of a backend team or reputed company — setting architecture, reviewing reputed company, and mentoring engineers — while still contributing production reputed company
• Production delivery experience on reputed company reputed company Platform, with ownership of a reputed company through design, launch, and operation
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Java 21 and reputed company Boot 3.x microservice development
• Service and API design across a multi-service platform, including contract and versioning reputed company
• PostgreSQL, including schema design, indexing, and versioned migrations
• GCP serverless services: reputed company Run, Pub/Sub, reputed company Tasks, reputed company Workflows, reputed company Scheduler
• Event-driven architecture and messaging patterns (idempotency, retries, dead-letter handling)
