Here, you will make an impact by:The IT Digital Commercial Excellence Sr Director will lead as a single point of accountability for IT’s relationship with the business and functions. They will manage the delivery of solutions to the Consumer business and serve as the single point of contact throughout strategy, planning and execution lifecycles.

• Aligning business and technology strategies to drive commercial success.
• Develop a comprehensive business and technology roadmap that integrates IT strategic objectives with technological advancements.
• Work closely with business and finance teams to identify and define business case opportunities.
• Manage aligned spending and total cost economics, ensuring optimal return on investment and tracking value realization.
• Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement through measuring the SAY:DO Ratio and KPIs .
• Drive thought leadership and innovation within the organization by designing business solutions that leverage cutting-edge technology and drive speed to value.

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business and or Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields (completed and verified prior to start)
• Five (5) years of front office business and technology enablement ecosystem strategy and execution in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Proven experience as a thought leader within Marketing, Sales and Service commercial business and technology enablement with a focus on CPG Marketing execution and customer lifecycle in retail channels
• Proven ability to partner with senior/executive business leaders and cross-functional matrixed global teams to drive strategic alignment and execution
• Strong understanding and ability to articulate complex business processes, opportunities and IT ecosystem solutions to drive business outcomes
• Ingenuity, creativity, innovation, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of IT frameworks and methodologies.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices
• Strong Financial Acumen
• Strong understanding of AIML as a business value driver and commercial scale
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

Work location:

• Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Austin, TX or Maplewood, MN offices at least 3 days per week)
