Job description: Job Description:CI Associate – Customer InsightsOVERVIEW:Play a lead role in driving insights to influence the biggest retailer- Walmart Inc.! The CI Associate in Customer Insights will be part of the Walmart region team, leading the charge to drive growth with best-in-class insights. Your work will help identify opportunities for General Mills and our top customers to grow together. Working closely with the sales, brand, and consumer insights, and other cross-functional partners, you will use a variety of tools to build shopper, consumer, category, and product insights stories to keep our organization and our customer consumer/shopper first, and make insights-based decisions.You’ll love the rich experience offered in this role - you will be working on different brands and categories in Morning Foods OU. Using both syndicated and quant/qual primary insights, you will explore a variety of topics at different altitudes, from how the Food world is evolving, life stage trends, all the way to product specific questions. You will also have tremendous leadership visibility in this role. Your daily audience includes senior sales managers and Directors, and you will frequently interact with CI teams. You will also have plenty of opportunities to present to Sales and Marketing leadership teams and the customer.Key capabilities and experiences you'll develop in this role include omnichannel and direct customer experience, multi-business and multi-functional experience, matrix relationship management, and sales and customer experience & empathy. Tools/vendors you’ll use include Scintilla (Luminate), Numerator, Nielsen, Qualtrics, Circana, etc.This role is based in the WM Business Center in Rogers, AR, and candidates are required to live within the area due to the regular meeting cadence with our customers.Our people are at the heart of what makes General Mills great – it’s why people join and stay. - Support Morning Foods categories
- Use a variety of data sources to create compelling insights and stories to influence customer strategy
- Partner with OU Insights counterparts to build and share insights, analyze products, brands, and strategies, and drive growth
- Present insights to customers in innovation meetings, line reviews, and other apertures
- Maintain a growth mindset and continue to evolve ways of working and build best practices. Identify new opportunities to use insights to create a broader impact
- Be an active member of the Shopper Insights team and help build an open and collaborative team culture
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Market Research, Data Analytics, or related fields
- 1-2+ years of experience in consumer insights, category management, data analytics, or related fields
- Willing to learn and leverage new tools
- Strong ability to synthesize data sources and inputs to craft a simple, compelling story
- Comfortable with fast-paced and agile work environment
- Experience with Scintilla (Luminate), Numerator, Nielsen, Qualtrics or other data and survey tools
- Strong command of syndicated toolkit
- International relocation or international remote working arrangements (outside of the US) will not be considered.
