The role involves both front-end and back-end development of web applications to support innovative engineering solutions for clients, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and develop scalable applications. Responsibilities: • Assist in the development and maintenance of user-facing applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (React.js, Angular, or similar frameworks). • Work on server-side logic and database management using technologies like Node.js, Express, Python, or similar. • Design, develop, and optimize relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB). • Work closely with other developers, engineers, and business analysts to integrate user needs into practical software solutions. • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices for version control (Git), code reviews, and testing. • Participate in the testing process, including unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure software reliability and quality. • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for code, workflows, and development processes. • Stay updated on emerging web development technologies and trends, proactively applying new tools and techniques to enhance development practices. Qualifications: Required: • A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, but not required. Equivalent practical experience will be considered. • Proficiency in front-end web development technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React, Angular, or similar libraries/frameworks). • Experience with back-end technologies: Node.js, Express, Python, or similar. • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB). • Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab). • Understanding of RESTful API design and integration. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Eagerness to develop new technical skills and grow within the company.
